Annual Rabies Vaccination Clinic

The Township of Hanover Health Department will hold its annual Rabies Vaccination Clinic on Saturday, November 6, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  Please note the new location.  It will be held at the new Whippany Fire House located at 10 Troy Hills Road in Whippany.  Dr. Nate Clark of the Werner Animal Hospital will be administering the rabies vaccinations.  All animals must be accompanied by an adult.

Please note that the vaccination given will provide one (1) year of protection for cats and dogs vaccinated for the first time and three (3) years for cats and dogs being revaccinated.  Also, for pets that have already been vaccinated, the State Health Department advises that revaccinations be given every two (2) years to ensure an overlap of immunity and prevent pet owners from missing the three (3) year revaccination date.

No reservations are required.  If you have any questions, please call the Township of Hanover Health Department at 973 515-6667.

Blood Pressure Screening

Beginning September 2019, the Township of Hanover Health Department will be offering a monthly Blood Pressure Screening Clinic the third Wednesday of each month (September through June) from 11 a.m. to Noon in the Township of Hanover Community Center, 15 North Jefferson Road, Whippany. All residents over the age of 18 years are welcome to attend.
