Wednesday All of Cedar Knolls (including the Countrywood and Trailwood areas, the Viera at Hanover and Waterview Condominium Developments)
Thursday Both sides of Whippany Road

Additions to Residential Neighborhood Services

As of January 13, 2015, all Hanover Township residential neighborhoods will have their sanitation collected with the new state-of-the-art automated sanitation trucks. This includes the following condominium developments:

  • The Grande at Hanover
  • Oak Ridge at Hanover
  • Sunrise at Hanover

2021 Sanitation Holiday Schedule

These changes only affect the route specified - so if your garbage is not picked up on Mondays, the changes won't affect you (except for the Thursday Whippany routes for the Thanksgiving holiday)

  • Martin Luther King Jr. Day: Monday, January 18th - will instead be picked up Tuesday, January 19th 
  • Presidents' Day: Monday, February 15th - will instead be picked up Tuesday, February 16th
  • Memorial Day: Monday, May 31st - will instead be picked up Tuesday, June 1st
  • Independence Day: Monday, July 5th - will instead be picked up Tuesday, July 6th
  • Labor Day: Monday, September 6th - will instead be picked up Tuesday, September 7th
  • Columbus Day: Monday, October 11th - will instead be picked up Tuesday, October 12th
  • Thanksgiving Day: Thursday, November 25th - will instead be picked up Friday, November 26th
  • Christmas Holiday: Monday, December 27th - will instead be picked up Tuesday, December 28th
